“Breakfast is our favorite meal of the day, and our customers were constantly requesting morning menu items,” said owners Carl and Johanna Wright. “We decided to launch the menu in Hillcrest, our second location, as Hillcrest is a popular brunch dining destination.”
Breakfast menu items of note will include: gluten-free pancakes made with organic buckwheat flour, vegan tofu scramble and omelets made with free-range eggs. Toast will be made with eight-grain artisan bread from local bakery, Bread & Cie, and Acai bowls will be served with organic Sambazon acai berries that help to preserve the rainforest, topped with fresh fruit. A children’s menu will also be featured.
The 3,600-square-foot café is dedicated to serving fresh, natural and healthy food at affordable prices, prepared with love, simplicity and a joyful heart. Lotus Café and Juice Bar also provides two hours of parking validation in the Village Hillcrest parking structure.
