Wildcoast is hosting an evening of celebration of the shared coastal conservation successes of Southern California and Baja at the 2nd Annual Baja Bash, and marking the occasion with the best chefs, beer, and wine from both sides of our border, San Diego and Baja California. On Saturday, June 15th at the beautiful Port Pavilion at the Broaday Pier, starting at 6:00PM, enjoy a Baja-inspired tasting menu designed by world renowned Baja California and San Diego Chefs, including regional wines, beer and tequila, and live music by San Diego’s own B-Side Players.

The Baja Bash will bring together the best flavors of the region, 8 chefs from both sides of the border are featured, including: (from San Diego) Flor Franco of Indulge Catering, Jason Knibb of NINE-TEN, Todd Nash from Blind Burro, Chad White of Plancha Baja Med, and (from Baja California), Humberto Aviles of La Caza Club, Drew Deckman of Deckman's San Jose, Miguel-Angel Guerrero of La Querencia, and Javier Plascencia of Mision 19.
Chef Marcela Valladolid, currently featured as a judge on The American Baking Competition on CBS, will serve as the host for the evening, as well as feature her tequila line, Hacienda de la Flor Tequila. There will also be beer courtesy of Stone Brewing Company, Green Flash Brewing Company and Cucapá, as well as a selection of regional wines, and the support of the Tijuana Culinary Art School. San Diego's own and nationally recognized B-Side Players will the our featured musical guests.

Tickets are $75 per person, including food, drinks, and entertainment, and are available at http://www.wildcoast.net or by calling (619) 423-8665 x200. Reserved tables are also available for groups of 8.
Proceeds from the event will benefit WiLDCOAST’s continued efforts to conserve the most threatened coastal habitats and wildlife in the Californias and southern Mexico.
