Less than a year after being hired to take then-departing chef Paul McCabe's position as Executive Chef of the La Valencia Hotel, Chef Daniel Barron has announced that he and "the Pink Lady" are no more as of Monday, May 26. Chef Daniel has assisted in the revamp of the hotel's dining options, including a modernization of the Mediterranean Room and the construction of a new bistro concept - Cafe La Rue.
Chef Barron took to Facebook to confirm the rumor of his departure and announced that he is officially on the market:
