Don't miss the wildest food event in San Diego at the San Diego Zoo Food & Wine Celebration on Saturday, September 27. This event is presented by Cymer and is always a spectacular party not to be missed, as guests attending the annual fundraising can sample culinary delights and sip on beverages from more than 150 of the San Diego area's best restaurants, wineries and breweries and meet exotic animals like a koala and cheetah up close, all while benefiting wildlife conservation efforts of our famous zoo. Don't miss out on one of the most unique and fun food events in San Diego.
The annual celebration is sure to be wilder than ever this year. From dance music to country rock to Zydeco, partygoers can enjoy music on seven stages, as well as play a few games at the Critter Casino and bid on fabulous prizes in the silent auction - such as behind-the-scenes Zoo tours, luxurious getaways, jewelry, entertainment packages and more. And a party at the Zoo wouldn't be complete without amazing animal encounters, including a special animal presentation by San Diego Zoo Global Ambassador Joan Embery. There are also Skyfari rides throughout the night,
Proceeds from the San Diego Zoo Food & Wine Celebration help the San
Diego Zoo Institute for Conservation Research, the Zoo's science-based
conservation arm, which works on conservation projects locally and
operates more than 100 conservation projects in 35 countries. These
projects include breeding and releasing California condors, restoring
palms in Mexico, and studying wild giant pandas in the bamboo forests in
China.
