It's been a San Diego staple for over half a century, serving up steaks, seafood and cocktails in San Diego's Mission Valley since 1962, but on December 23, after 53 years in business, Albie's Beef Inn will close, as well as it's neighboring breakfast restaurant, Adam's Steak & Eggs.

Known for its aged steaks, menu of oldschool dishes, piano bar, paintings of naked women, and classic decor, Albie's has been serving hungry San Diegans from its location within a Travelodge parking lot since Kennedy was in office. Many locals will certainly mourn the loss of another San Diego historic eatery.
