Extraordinary Desserts has formed a new partnership with retail and wholesale produce distributor Specialty Produce, creating a retail display of delicious sweet and savory items inside the produce haven. Master Pastry Chef Karen Krasne will be offering a selection of goodies including sweets like her ready-to-bake cookie doughs and for the first time, her savory dips, spreads and salad dressings previously only available on the Little Italy Extraordinary Desserts menu for sale at Specialty Produce.
Specialty Produce will have a custom retail display for Extraordinary’s rotating list of items like: Karen’s Green Goddess dressing, her famous Pesto Genovese, her Earl Grey Chocolate Chip cookie dough, a diverse list of baker’s chocolates, teas and various granolas, jams and Karen’s best-selling cook book.
Extraordinary Desserts has two location that both offer a completely different vibe and a collection of extravagant cakes, pastries and sweets. It has been a top destination in San Diego for globally-inspired gourmet desserts since opening the Hillcrest location in 1989.
