Point Loma's Liberty Public Market will launch a weekly farmers market starting on Thursday, May 4, which will be located at Sims Road & Decatur Court and feature a variety of more than 60 vendors, from local farmers to craft artisans.
Managed by LPM's owner Blue Bridge Hospitality, the California state certified Liberty Public Farmers Market will take place each Thursday from 2-7pm. To celebrate the launch, the market will give complimentary totes to the first 1,000 shoppers on opening day. Expect to see nearly 20 certified farm stands, as well as approximately 50 specialty food artisans and live entertainment by area musicians. There will also be chefs demos, food samples, and eventually a dinner series where a local chef will lead participants through a market shopping experience followed by a farm-fueled meal.
