Whisknladle Hospitality, the crew behind San Diego's Prepkitchen, Catania & Whisknladle restaurants have obtained the 7,000 square foot building at 9920 Pacific Heights Boulevard in Sorrento Valley for the opening of Gravity Heights, a brewery, outdoor beer garden and restaurant which are set to debut sometime in 2018.
Details on Gravity Heights are extremely limited and a basic Google search only returns information on a nearly $3Million investment and some trademark registrations. The brewery restaurant is the brainchild of Whisknladle CEO Arturo Cassel and AleSmith's original brewermaster Skip Virgilio, who are just beginning the construction of their brewery and eatery within the One Pacific Heights office complex in Sorrento Valley. Whisknladle intends to build a brewery and restaurant with a 5,000 square-foot outdoor beer garden. Expect a modern Californian menu designed by the company's culinary director Ryan Johnston to be paired with the company's house brewed craft beers from Virgilio.
Gravity Heights is not expected to open until late 2018. For more information on Whisknladle Hospitality, visit wnlhosp.com.
