North Park's highly-reviewed Ceviche House fast-casual eatery is in the process of opening a full-service restaurant at the 2,400 square-foot space that previously housed El Charko Grill & Bar in San Diego's Old Town neighborhood.
Owner and chef Juan Carlos Récamier first started his Ceviche House concept as a stand at local farmers markets in 2014 before opening a quaint 400-square-foot brick-and-mortar location in 2015, which quickly garnered praise for its artful preparations of local seafood. The new restaurant will have an expanded menu that will feature hot dishes, as well as outdoor patio seating and possibly a full bar.
Récamier plans to keep his North Park location open for the time being, but may close the 30th Street outpost once the Old Town eatery debuts at 2415 San Diego Avenue later this summer. For more information on Ceviche House, visit their Facebook Page.
