Feeding San Diego's Pairings With A Purpose Tasting Event Returns On April 14 Enter To Win 2 Tickets

Feeding San Diego will bring its annual Pairings With A Purpose culinary competition, tasting event and charity fundraiser back to Bobby Riggs Tennis Club & Museum in scenic Encinitas on Saturday, April 14 from 12-4pm, offering a delicious afternoon of tastings from some of San Diego's top chefs, breweries and wineries. At Pairings With A Purpose, enjoy exclusive Surf & Turf themed pairings from San Diego’s most skilled and creative chefs, each paired with a brewery or winery. Enjoy games, music and bidding on one-of-a-kind silent auction experiences in beautiful Encinitas, all while doing your part in the mission to end hunger in San Diego. Each chef and beverage duo will collaborate to create a special pairing of food and drink during a riveting culinary competition where not only a lineup of culinary judges, but also guests, get to sample each pairing.

Participating chefs that will serve up dishes at Pairings With A Purpose include former Top Chef contestant Angelo Sosa, Trey Foshee of George's California Modern, Davin Waite of Wrench & RodentAnthony Sinsay of J-Six, Jason McLeod of Ironside Fish & Oyster and Born & Raised, Jason Knibb of Nine-Ten of La Jolla, Julie Darling of Just Call Us Volunteers, Shihomi Borillo of Azuki Sushi, Gunnar Plantar of Viewpoint Brewing, Jason Gethin of Farmer and the Seahorse, Olivier Bioteau of Kitchen Management Solutions, Sharon Wilson of Panama 66, Steve Floyd of Brigantine, Tim Kolanko of Stake Chophouse & Bar, Tommy Morstad of Blind Lady Ale House and more! All-inclusive tickets to Pairings With A Purpose are available online for $75 for GA and $150 for VIP, which includes one hour early entrance to the event with exclusive chef tastings and preferred parking. All proceeds benefit Feeding San Diego, a non-profit organization that works to help the nearly half a million San Diego residents, including 1 in 5 children, that are struggling with hunger, creating a long-term impact in the community through a comprehensive approach to hunger-relief.
