The San Diego Reader is on the hunt to find the city's top burger! Help them decide at the 3rd Annual Reader Burgers & Beer Festival at Golden Hill Park on Saturday, September 8, an all-inclusive food and beer fest where attendees will get the chance to sample and vote on gourmet burgers from more than 20 of the best area restaurants as they compete to win the title of "Best Burger in San Diego". As usual with any great event in San Diego, we are raffling off 2 VIP tickets to attend, as well as offering promo code SDVILLE for $5 savings per ticket.
Participating eateries dishing up burgers at the event last year included Backyard Kitchen & Tap, Banzai Bar, Common Theory Public House, Fat Sal's Deli, Luce Bar and Kitchen, Slater's 50/50, Funky Fries & Burgers, Eureka!, New York West, Quad Ale House, Tavern + Bowl, Tavern at the Beach, Union Kitchen + Tap, Terra American Bistro, Waypoint Public and many more. Participating breweries offering samples included Abnormal Beer, Aztec Brewing, Barrel Harbor, Belching Beaver, Bitter Brothers, Iron Fist, Julian Hard Cider, Lagunitas, North Park Beer, Pure Project, Common Cider Company, Duck Foot, Coronado Brewing, Firestone Walker, Little Miss Brewing, Mother Earth, Mission Brewery, Sapporo, Lost Abbey and others. The list of participants is expected to be even better for this year's event!
General Admission tickets are currently available online for $45 and offer entrance from 1-4pm and unlimited burger & beer samples. VIP tickets are $55 and offer early entrance from 12-4pm and unlimited burger & beer tastes. Promo code SDVILLE saves $5 per ticket on any ticket type.
