The celebrated gourmet hot dog and craft beer chain, Dog Haus Biergarten, will be opening a location in downtown Vista later this year as part of a huge national expansion that includes up to ten additional San Diego branches.
Founded by partners Hagop Giragossian, Quasim Riaz and André Vener, the first Dog Haus opened in Pasadena, California in 2010. Over the years, Dog Haus has garnered critical acclaim and national attention for its signature all beef, skinless hotdogs and hand-crafted sausages with no added nitrates, 100% Black Angus beef burgers, and a fried chicken sandwich, all of which are made with hormone and antibiotic-free meats. At Dog Haus, all dogs, sausages, burgers and the fried chicken sandwich are served on grilled King's Hawaiian rolls. To chase it down, the company offers a great selection of shakes and craft beers from a tap list emphasizing local favorites.
Dog Haus Biergarten will sit at 227 East Broadway in Vista. For more information, visit doghaus.com.

Dog Haus entered America's Finest City with the opening of a location at 969 Ninth Avenue in downtown San Diego in fall 2016. The company also operates a branch inside Mattress Firm Amphitheatre in Chula Vista. The Vista outpost will be managed by franchisees Scott and Henry Lee and open in the space that last housed Tom Fleming’s Shoe Repair at the corner of S. Indiana St. & Broadway in historic downtown Vista. The new location will feature both indoor and outdoor patio dining areas and is expected to open by this fall.
Dog Haus currently has 30+ locations open in nine states with at least twenty more in development across the country. In 2016, Dog Haus announced a massive national franchise development deal with American Development Partners with plans to open more than 300 locations across the nation over the next six years. The company is also interested in opening more locations around San Diego in the coming years, including in neighborhoods like Pacific Beach, Encinitas, and Point Loma.
