A Point Loma institution for almost 40 years, Natural Style Chicken is opening a full service bar & grill in San Diego's Hillcrest community, taking over the space that last housed Tokyo Ramen.
Natural Style Chicken was founded in 1979 in the Midway District of San Diego's Point Loma and is currently owned by Inho Choi. Tomorrow, the longtime local eatery will open a branch at 5th & University in Hillcrest. Like the original, the new branch will serve a menu centered around fresh rotisserie chicken, ribs and beef including Teriyaki chicken with rice, Korean-Style ribs, chicken egg rolls, Taquitos and homemade soup. The wood-fired rotisserie will also roast turkeys and ducks. The new location will also serve beer, wine and Soju cocktails.
