After 40 Years In Business, Feliccia's Italian Restaurant To Shutter

December 3, 2018

A North San Diego County staple for four decades, Feliccia’s Italian Restaurant & Deli has announced it will close for business this month so that the owners can retire.

Opened 40 years ago by Sam & Nina Feliccia, Feliccia's started out as a deli and catering company before transitioning into a full-scale restaurant once a neighboring escrow company closed and allowed the business to expand its footprint. The Feliccia family also ran the concessions at Moonlight Amphitheatre for 25 years, ending in 2012.

"I have labored over this decision for five years...I knew the day would come, but it does not make it any easier," said Sam Feliccia in an email to friends and customers. "Feliccia's has been in my soul since 1978 and I will miss the relationships and familiar faces of the day to day social interactions with my customers. Nina and I wish to thank our community and patrons for dining with us, we'll miss serving you!"

Feliccia's will close for business on Thursday, December 12. Get one last visit by going to 1011 S Santa Fe Avenue, Suite C, in Vista. For more information, visit feliccias.com and read the email announcement below.
