Opening as early as this weekend in the 3,300 square foot space that previously housed the short-lived Casa Rustica within The Village at Pacific Highlands Ranch in Carmel Valley is Madero's Mexican Tequila Bar, an authentic restaurant and tequila house from the owners of neighboring Wokou Ramen.
From Express Capital Investments founders Joey Pena and James Langley, who opened Wokou Ramen in the Village at Pacific Highlands Ranch in 2017 and are currently working on replicating that concept for Crown Point, Madero's menu will offer an elevated and unique take on traditional Mexican cuisine with a bar housing 60 different types of tequilas. The restaurant is currently in its final stages of construction aiming to open by Cinco de Mayo Sunday, May 5, but many are speculating that it will be delayed.
Madero's Mexican Tequila Bar is located at 5965 Village Way, Space E107, in the Carmel Valley area of Del Mar. For more information, follow the Madero's Instagram page.
