Latitude 33 Brewing Company To Open Downtown San Diego Bayfront Tasting Room

June 9, 2019

Vista-based Latitude 33 Brewing Company, whose Blood Orange IPA is one of San Diego's top selling beers, will be opening a taproom on the ground level of the bayfront InterContinental San Diego Hotel.

Founded in March 2012 by brewmaster Kevin Buckley (formerly of Alpine Beer Co. and Back Street Brewery) in the brewery space that previously served as Green Flash Brewing's original facility in Vista, CA, Latitude 33 has grown to be one of San Diego's most popular breweries due to the success of its Blood Orange IPA (it is speculated that this is currently San Diego's top selling beer). The new downtown San Diego tasting room will soon install on base floor of the less than one year old InterContinental Hotel directly across the street from the San Diego Bay. Latitude 33 will sell its lineup of signature and seasonal craft beer for onsite consumption and takeaway, as well as branded merchandise. The company is joining other tenants of the building including Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse, Chef Amy DiBiase's Vistal restaurant, an incoming gelato shop, and the future opening of a 19th story The Reading Club lounge from Consortium Holdings (Born & Raised, Ironside Fish & Oyster).

Latitude 33 Brewing Company hopes to open its tasting room at 901 Bayfront Court in downtown San Diego by this fall. For more information, visit latitude33brewing.com.
