Husband-and-wife backed 2Kids Brewing Company has announced it will close after its 6th anniversary next month.
"We wanted to let you all know that 2kids will be wrapping up operations and closing our doors at the end of September," read a post to 2Kids Brewing's Facebook Page. "Negotiations with our landlord to renew our lease after a 6 year tenancy have ended without a successful agreement. While we're sad that we won't be able to keep serving you all really cool beers, we are deeply honored to have been welcomed into this truly exceptional community."

After a successful Kickstarter campaign, 2Kids Brewing was launched in September 2013 on the outskirts of San Diego's Miramar in what is now a craft beverage hub dubbed Miralani Makers District. Founded by husband-and-wife team Sam and Rob Dufau, the duo went from homebrewing to a full-scale endeavor and created a modest beer lineup. After last year's closure of neighboring Intergalactic Brewing, 2Kids resurrected the craft beer brand and began serving Intergalactic recipes.
2Kids Brewing will shutter after the company's 6th Anniversary Bash, taking place September 27 and 28. They will be operating under normal hours until til then, so get your last taste by visiting the tasting room at 8680 Miralani Drive, Suite 123, in San Diego's Miramar.
