A new Korean BBQ restaurant based out of Los Angeles will soon open a location in the space currently occupied by Josun Korean BBQ on San Diego's Convoy Street. Song Hak is set to unveil later this year, specializing in the Korean delicacy of grilled beef intestines.
Kyungsuk Park opened the first Song Hak in the Artesia area of Los Angeles County in 2015 and brought a second location to LA's Koreatown this past spring. Song Hak offers a menu of authentic Korean barbecue, featuring tabletop grills with meat selections ranging from short rib to brisket to pork belly, as well as classic Korean gopchang-gui and daechang-gui - grilled small or large intestines of beef. The restaurant will also offer an array of traditional Korean side dishes like corn cheese, bean paste soup, and marinated cold noodles. The San Diego location will also serve Korean beer, wine and infused soju.
