The festival is unique in drawing a lineup of top chefs from as far as Mexico City and New York City to promote and celebrate the bounty of the region and the cuisine and wines of Baja California, both now being recognized world-wide.
At the Valle Food & Wine Festival, guests get the opportunity to sample foods cooked in a beautiful, wide-open field over open fires, barrel smokers and Caja Chinas, exemplifying the rustic-chic style and traditions of the region. In addition to dishes from a star-studded line-up of chefs, the festival showcases over 20 of the best Baja wineries, local craft breweries, and hand-made cocktails. The day-into-evening event includes live music and dancing, artisan vendors, mezcal tastings, inspiring talks, live painting, and a charity spin-the-wheel benefiting Corazón de Vida Foundation, a U.S.-based non-profit organization that provides life-changing support for orphaned and abandoned children in Baja California.
