Season 17 of Bravo’s Top Chef, dubbed the "All Stars LA" edition, will include San Diego's own Brian Malarkey and Angelo Sosa as cheftestants. Locally, Malarkey owns and operates Herb & Wood and Herb & Eatery in Little Italy, Animae and NIMA Café at Pacific Gate by Bosa in downtown San Diego, and the recently opened Herb & Sea above Moonlight Beach in Encinitas. Malarkey was a contestant on Top Chef Season 3 in Miami. Chef Angelo Sosa is the Executive Chef of Death By Tequila in Encinitas and was a contestant on Top Chef Seasons 7 & 8. Juniper & Ivy and The Crack Shack chef Richard Blais will also likely be returning as a guest judge at some point in the season.
