TapRoom Beer Company Unveils In San Diego's North Park

February 19, 2020

Nearly 3 years in the making, TapRoom Beer Company is a new 5,000 square-foot brewpub and restaurant which soft opens today in San Diego's North Park.

Brothers Kevin & Kyle Conover opened SD TapRoom at 1269 Garnet Avenue in Pacific Beach 13 years ago and devoted the bar to the art of craft beer before the concept was cool. In spring 2017, the duo announced plans to launch TapRoom Beer Company, a seven barrel brewery headed by former Mikkeller Brewing brewer Bill Batten, who also had a 15 year tenure at AleSmith Brewing Company. The day has finally come and TapRoom Beer Co. has soft opened its brand new brewhouse.

In addition to a full brewery pumping out an eclectic array of beer styles, TapRoom Beer also houses an adjacent brewpub that features 50 taps of craft beer, a mezzanine beer cellar, an ample outdoor beer garden, and a menu of pub fare from Executive Chef AG Warfield, who previously spent time in the kitchens of Churchill's Pub and Common Theory Public House. To celebrate the soft opening, patrons will receive 20% off their tab until the yet-to-be-announced grand opening. Hours are currently 3-9pm daily, subject to change.

TapRoom Beer Company is located at 2000 El Cajon Boulevard on the base floor of the new BLVD building on the border of University Heights and North Park. For more information, visit taproombeerco.com and check out the photos below.
