Amidst a global tour of his roving Cosecha supper club, Chef Steve Brown is joining forces with Chef Isabel Cruz for a one-night-only, 16 course, wine-paired dinner on March 15 at Isabel's Cantina in San Diego's Pacific Beach.
In 2016, Chef Steve Brown returned to his hometown of Imperial Beach from Los Angeles and began hosting wagyu beef centered pop up meals under his brand Cosecha, which means 'harvest' in Spanish. The touring dinner club has since traveled all over the West Coast and soon, the world, offering an ever-changing, locally-sourced menu using the finest ingredients. The next Cosecha feast will take place on Sunday, March 15, at Isabel's Cantina in Pacific Beach, featuring sixteen wine-paired courses mere blocks from the Pacific Ocean.
"Our Pacific Beach dinner will offer a full tasting menu featuring produce from our local farms and seafood from the docks, Kurobuta pork, domestic wagyu and, of course, A5 Japanese Wagyu," explained CosechaSD founder Chef Steve Brown. "This dinner will also have True Hyogo Kobe Beef, which CosechaSD is one of the very few certified in the USA, and the only in SD, to carry this fine product. Cosecha is on a world tour right now, traveling all over the USA and many locations in Canada. This summer we will be in Europe - Bordeaux, Paris, Stockholm, Sweden, Germany and Italy. It’s pretty cool I love what this little pop-up 4 years ago has turned into. It really is a humbling experience to touch people all over the world with our food and hospitality."
Tickets to CosechaSD's March 15 dinner are available online and are expected to sell out. For more information and to secure your reservations, visit chefstevebrown.com/cosecha.
