An Alice In Wonderland-themed, spirits-fueled tea party is coming to a secret garden location in San Diego this fall.
The Mad Hatter’s Gin & Tea Party is a traveling pop-up experience that has already hosted more than 30,000 people at events in Los Angeles, London and New York. The 90-minute events begin with guests being ushered into a room to choose a hat and then listen for instructions from the Cheshire Cat before they are allowed into the tea party. Attendees will be welcomed with "Drink Me" potion (which is spiked with a bit of gin), then led to a seat within a secret wonderland garden to enjoy a selection of "tea" cocktails crafted with gin. Each beverage is paired with a pastry or small treat inspired by classic British tea time. Vegan, gluten-free, and allergy-friendly food options are available, as are non-alcoholic options beverages. All attendees must be over 21 years of age.
