A Los Angeles-based salad chain known for customizable salads and healthy bowls, Chop Stop will open its first San Diego location this summer.
Chop Stop was founded in Los Angeles, CA, in 2010, and now has around 20 locations. Like other fast-casual customizable food concepts like Chipotle, the restaurants offer signature and made to order dishes, including chopped salads, Chopurritos salad topped rice & bean bowls, wraps, soups and more. Chop Stop began actively marketing its franchise program at the beginning of 2018, with the goal of having 100 locations open in the next 5 years. The first San Diego location will open this July in a former Starbucks location in Encinitas. Based on the success of this first area outpost, more may be on the way.
Chop Stop will sit at 258 N. El Camino Real, Suite B-2, in San Diego's Encinitas. For more information, visit chopstop.com.
