Now open in the space that last housed SuperNatural Sandwiches in San Diego's Pacific Beach is Coconut Girl Kitchen, a Thai-centric Asian fusion restaurant.
Thailand native Supranee Schneider has a PHD in bio chemistry, but her passion for food led her to open Coconut Girl Kitchen earlier this summer in Pacific Beach. The restaurant offers an eclectic menu of Southeast Asian cuisine, including dishes like soup dumplings, pot stickers, spring rolls, Thai-style popcorn chicken, Crying Tiger tacos, Pad Thai, curries, fried rice and the restaurant's signature Mi Goreng Malaysian egg noodles. The eatery also offers fresh-made desserts such as Nutella and banana fried spring rolls, as well as a variety of drinks including milk tea, fruit slushies and Stubborn fountain sodas.
