Murietta-Based Intazza Café Signs On To Open San Diego Location

October 18, 2020

Temecula, CA-based café and coffee shop Intazza has signed on to open a location at the nearly 2,000 square-foot signature restaurant space within a new San Diego mixed-use development in Golden Hill.

Intazza Coffee was founded as a commercial coffee roaster in 2005 in Temecula, CA by Ryan Dalton. After the success of the first brick-and-mortar location, opened in Murietta in 2017, Intazza aims to expand with more outposts around Southern California. The company's second café aims to open within the next few months on the base floor of the new Buzz apartment building in San Diego's Golden Hill. Like the original retail location, the cafe will offer an array of diverse and exotic coffee roasts, espresso drinks, teas, and cold brews, as well as an all-day menu featuring breakfast entrees, bagels, toasts, sandwiches, salads, flatbreads and desserts.

Developers Rammy Cortez of Rammy Urban Infill and Alexander Alemany of Hub & Spoke Communities planned the $9 million mixed-use Buzz apartment building with a modern design sitting on a high point in Golden Hill. San Diego-based real estate brokerage Location Matters exclusively marketed the restaurant space on behalf of the developer to secure the ideal tenant to meet the project’s brand. A new 10-year lease was signed for this brand-new contemporary restaurant location right on the high traffic corner of 30th St and B in Golden Hill. Intazza will occupy 1,958 square feet, with an additional 480 square feet of patio space.

Intazza Coffee aims to open in early 2021 at 1144 30th Street in San Diego's Golden Hill community. For more information, visit intazzacoffeeworks.com.
