Global boba tea chain Presotea, which first launched in Taiwan in 2006 and now has more than 400 locations around the world, will soon open its first San Diego branch.
Presotea was founded in Taiwain in 2006 and is now considered one of Taiwan's most well known tea shops with more than 400 franchise stores in Indonesia, Canada, China, Australia, and the United States. Presotea separates itself from other boba tea brands through its unique espresso-style brewing technology that uses a high temperature and high pressurized machine to extract more essence from the tea, with each drink made to order in front of the customers. The first San Diego location of Presotea will soon install in the retail space that last housed a Starbucks within the Pacific Beach Market Place plaza that also houses Ralphs supermarket. Like other branches, this outpost will serve a large array of boba milk and fruit teas in flavors like Brown Sugar Creme Brulee, White Peach Oolong Tea, and Toffee Black Tea. The shop will also sell fresh teas, coffee drinks and smoothies.
Presotea is expected to open by early 2021 at 4343 Mission Boulevard in San Diego's Pacific Beach. For more information, visit presoteaamerica.com.
