Santa Monica's SocialEats food hall will open a cloud-kitchen offshoot in the heart of San Diego's Pacific Beach neighborhood, bringing 5 unique dining concepts to the 450 square-foot space that last housed B-MO's Sandwich Shop.
Founded by K2 Restaurants the original location of SocialEats opened in The Gallery Santa Monica in 2018. While the flagship outpost is a true food hall, the concept eventual jumped on the cloud kitchen bandwagon and launched delivery and takeout-exclusive locations dubbed SocialEats OnTheGo in in Anaheim, CA, Hollywood, and soon in the Mid-Wilshire area of Los Angeles.
The Pacific Beach location will open at some point in mid-2021 and offer 5 separate dining concepts that will be available solely for pick-up, free in-house local delivery, and through third party restaurant delivery apps like Postmates and UberEats. Patrons will be able to mix and match items from all eateries, tentatively including Azule Taqueria (tacos, bowls, nachos, quesadillas), Street Noods (Asian-fusion noodle dishes), Pop's Burgers & Shakes, Hollywood Crab Shack (Cajun-style seafood boils in a Bag) and The Supertoro (Japanese izakaya-syle favorites).
SocialEats OnTheGo will sit at 1037 Garnet Avenue in San Diego's Pacific Beach. For more information, visit thesocialeats.com.
