Lobster West will soon bring New England seafood delicacies to the heart of San Diego's La Jolla Village.
Founded by East Coast natives Kim Locker and Chad & Deboarah Taggart, Lobster West first opened in Encinitas's The Lumberyard shopping center in summer 2013, with a second location launched in Coronado in early 2016. A third branch was installed within Carlsbad's Windmill Food Hall, but that outpost has since closed.
The newest Lobster West will open later this year within The International Shops plaza in La Jolla Village. Like other locations, the menu will offer lobster and other seafood rolls, seafood soups, salads, and Maine whoopie pies. The restaurant will also offer catering services.
Lobster West is expected to open by late summer to early fall at 1237 Prospect Street in La Jolla. For more information, visit lobsterwest.com.
