Founded in San Diego in 2012, Puesto Mexican Artisan Kitchen & Bar is continuing its California expansion with its 9th restaurant set to open this summer right outside Disneyland in Anaheim.
San Diegans Eric and Alan Adler, along with their cousin Isi Lombrozo, launched the first Puesto Mexican Artisan Kitchen & Bar on Wall Street in La Jolla in 2012. The restaurant now has eight locations, including a 9,000-square-foot bar & eatery that opened in Silicon Valley in 2018,
a San Diego location sited at The Headquarters at Seaport Village and a huge 10,000 square-foot brewery and restaurant that opened at the
former Gordon Biersch in Mission Valley last July. In summer 2020, the Adlers took over the space near their original Puesto location in La Jolla that housed
Whisknladle for 12 years to open
Marisi Italiano, a scratch-made Italian restaurant helmed by the chef that launched Cesarina in Point Loma.
The newest Puesto will open as early as late June on the grounds of The Westin Anaheim Resort directly across from Disneyland California. The restaurant is being designed by Basile Studios with custom craftsmanship of walnut, brass, steel, a suspended agave structure, and a first-of-its-kind projection with high-end video content telling a story throughout the wall. Expect a menu featuring Puesto's award-winning tacos, craft cocktails and selection of Puesto cerveza by its brewmaster Doug Hasker.
Puesto is set to open this summer at 1040 W. Katella Avenue in Anaheim, CA. For more information, visit
