Popular Juice Bar Northside Shack To Bring "Most Copied Bowls In The World" & Superfood Smoothies To San Diego's North County

August 31, 2021

Popular local juice bar Northside Shack is in the process of opening a third area location in San Diego's North County.

Pamela Olvera opened Northside Shack on Rosecrans Street in Point Loma in 2014, and the fast-casual eatery has become a popular destination for healthy juices and bowls. In her quest to open multiple new outlets around San Diego, Olvera unveiled her second outpost in North Park Square in January 2020.

Olvera recently signed a lease for the 1,205 square-foot space currently occupied by Kona Hut Coffee House in San Diego's North County city of Oceanside. Like her flagship store, the new location will be a quick-service eatery with a menu of customizable açaí and pitaya bowls available with unlimited toppings, which Olvera states are the "most copied bowls in the world", as well as organic oatmeal, smoothies and juice blends, kombucha on tap, teas, tonics, spritzers, and other grab and go items.

Northside Shack's new store is expected to open in spring 2022 at 1940 S Freeman Street in Oceanside. For more information, visit northsideshack.wordpress.com.
