Vista-based Bear Roots Brewing Company has plans to open a full-service restaurant & craft beer tasting room in San Diego's North County.
Founded in 2014 by husband-and-wife Terry and Page Little, Bear Roots Brewing Company was sold to Nasman Kiryakous in 2019, and the company currently operates a brewery with an onsite home brewing shop and a downtown tasting room, both sited in San Diego's North County city of Vista, CA. Kiryakous has recently taken over the 3,024 square-foot building in Escondido that previously housed an auto loan service to open Bear Roots first restaurant.
The new Bear Roots Brewing Company tasting room & restaurant is anticipated to open in mid-2022. Expect a gastropub-style, Cali-American food menu featuring sandwiches, salads and flatbreads, as well as Bear Roots craft beer on tap and a merchandise area. Bear Roots hopes to begin construction on the project in the very near future.
Bear Roots Brewing Company restaurant and tasting room will sit at 190 W El Norte Parkway in San Diego's North County community of Escondido. For more information, visit bearrootsbrewing.com.
