The team behind San Diego-based liquor store and alcohol delivery company Keg N Bottle is in the process of opening a location of its KNB Bistro & Bottle Shop concept in Pacific Beach.
Keg N Bottle was founded in San Diego in 1981 by the late Najib Konja, and the chain of ten liquor stores is now operated by son Tony Konja and his brothers, Randy and Robert. There are currently nine stores in San Diego County and one in Santa Barbara, including locations of KNB Bistro & Bottle Shop in Del Cerro and La Jolla.
KNB Bistro & Bottle Shop Pacific Beach is expected to open by mid-2022 at 4275 Mission Bay Drive, Suite 111, on the base floor of The Jefferson apartment complex. For more information, visit knbbistro.com.
KNB Bistro & Bottle Shop offers much more than just a curated collection of diverse beer, wine and spirits. The new Pacific Beach outpost will open next year on the base floor of The Jefferson apartment complex near the I-5 highway, which also houses Fit Athletic Club. Like other branches, expect an extensive liquor store component filled with rare and hard to find bottles, a full bar with beers on draft, and an onsite bistro serving a globally-influenced menu for lunch, brunch and dinner. The menu at KnB Bistro Pacific Beach will offer a variety of small plates and entrees, from flatbreads and burgers to salads and sandwiches. Menu highlights include the KnB burger, Philly cheesesteak, beer-braised short ribs, and the KnB grilled cheese served alongside a cup of tomato bisque. Like other locations, the new branch will host weekly tastings with emerging alcohol companies.
