Now open in San Diego's Point Loma neighborhood is Agave Taco Shop, a Mexican eatery with a menu based around tender, fall apart beef birria.
Juan Pablo Oceguera unveiled the flagship Agave Birrieria in San Diego's North County city of Encinitas only last May 202 but already has a second location open in the barn-shaped, drive-through building that last housed Taco Fiesta Mexican Food on West Point Loma Boulevard.
Dubbed Agave Taco Shop, expect a menu of taco shop favorites including an array of meat tacos, burritos, breakfast items, quesadillas, smothered fries, mulitas, plates, and Mexican soft drinks. Agave Taco Shop's specialty is its slow-cooked birria de res, which is available as a taco, burrito, quesadilla, atop fries or as a plate with rice and beans.
