"We are happy to announce that we are opening our fifth location in San Diego," read a blog post from Novo Brazil. "Our new 7,500-square-foot space is going to be in a gorgeous location by the water, with a huge patio and a view of the bay! Alongside our award-winning craft beer and Kombucha, we will be offering the same amazing food (you all love!) as our brewpub in Otay Ranch, including our delicious avocado salads and juicy burgers, augmented by Brazilian-inspired dishes like empanadas, yucca fries, coxinha (chicken croquet), and picanha (top sirloin). "
Founded by Tiago Carneiro, Novo Brazil debuted in 2015 and have been expanding operations ever since, including launching a 12,000 square foot brewpub and restaurant in Otay Ranch Town Center in Chula Vista only a couple miles from its original location. The company also has a taproom as part of Market on 8th Food Hall in National City and a kombucha tasting room in Ocean Beach. The new Novo Brazil location heading into Bikeway Village in Imperial Beach was previously slated to go to Coronado Brewing Company.
Novo Brazil's new venue is anticipated to open by this fall at 535 Florence Street in San Diego's Imperial Beach. For more information, visit novobrazilbrewing.com.
