After more than 25 years in business, Chinese food destination Golden Chopsticks has opened a second San Diego location.
Operated by the Chen family since opening in 1995, Golden Chopsticks has been drawing hungry San Diegans to National City for its menu of Americanized Chinese food classics, including their super popular salt and pepper chicken wings. Last Spring, it was announced that the restaurant would be replicating in San Diego's Mira Mesa, opening in the shopping plaza that also houses 85°C Bakery Cafe, Menya Ultra and Raising Cane's.
After almost a year and a half in development, Golden Chopsticks Mira Mesa quietly soft opened this past weekend with hungry patrons lining up around the block. Like the original, expect a menu of expect a menu of Chinese food favorites ranging from vegetable, chicken, beef, pork and seafood dishes, to sizzling hot pots, soups, fried rice, chow mein, and much more.
