Actor and Saturday Night Live alum Will Ferrell visited The Friendly in San Diego's North Park today, where he reportedly ate a Dirty Flat Top cheeseburger, a daily special sandwich, and shotgunned a Modelo beer with staff. What an absolute legend! The Friendly has two locations in San Diego's North Park, another in Pacific Beach and a fourth set to open early next year off Convoy Street in Kearny Mesa. The restaurant was recently named on our Best Burger List for 2022.
After enjoying a hearty meal at The Friendly, Ferrell visited Clem's Bottle House & Deli in Kensington, where a portrait of the actor holding a flight of beers hangs on the wall. Ferrell also stopped into Blind Lady Alehouse in Normal Heights, which he frequents whenever he is in San Diego. At each spot, Ferrell posed for photos with fans and staff while wearing a Los Angeles Lakers "ugly sweater" and a Stonington hat.
There is no word why the Step Brothers star is visiting San Diego this week, but he is celebrated for putting America's Finest City in the global spotlight through his Anchorman films. Ferrell was also in San Diego earlier this month, where he made a surprise guest appearance playing the cowbell for his son's band's first live performance at Music Box in Little Italy.
