San Diego's Smokin J's BBQ has opened its second area location, bringing low and slow wood-smoked barbecue to Miramar.
After a couple years perfecting their trade with a traveling barbecue pop up, brothers Jeremy and Joshua George opened Smokin J’s BBQ in San Diego's Poway neighborhood in December 2019. This week, the team opened their second location within the 3,000 square-foot shared space that also houses Serpentine Cider and Lost Cause Meadery in Miramar.
Smokin J's new outpost will serve a menu of classic barbecue staples, including slow smoked brisket, pulled pork, smoked jackfruit, pork belly, barbecue sandwiches, and a burger, as well as scratch made sides like smothered Cajun fries, chicken wings, smoked succotash, shishito pepper bites, brisket chili, and rotating specials.
