Hollywood movie star Keanu Reeves, known for such film franchises as Bill And Ted's Excellent Adventure and The Matrix, took in a concert at one of San Diego's most historic music venues over the weekend.
This past Sunday, May 7, John Wick star Keanu Reeves attended a concert by TheBobby Lees at The Casbah music venue in San Diego's Little Italy neighborhood. During the evening, Reeves enjoyed at least one local craft beer and posed for photos with fans, including with longtime San Diego DJ Tim Pyles (pictured above).
The Casbah was first opened in 1989 by Tim Mays, Bob Bennett and Peter English at the site of a former Irish pub at 2812 Kettner Boulevard in downtown San Diego's Middletown/Little Italy area. In the beginning of 1994, the venue moved down the road to a larger space. Over its three decade history, The Casbah has hosted such legendary bands as Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins, MGMT, The White Stripes, Arcade Fire, The Shins, and Death Cab for Cutie, to name a few.
