The inaugural Sabor Del Barrio (Taste of Barrio Logan) self-guided food tour takes over San Diego's historic Barrio Logan neighborhood on Sunday, August 27, featuring 36 of the neighborhoods best businesses offering tastes and samples.
Taking place on Sunday, August 27, from noon to 4pm, Sabor Del Barrio is a one day, self-guided food tour highlighting chicano culinary arts and culture in Barrio Logan. Featuring 30+ restaurants, coffee shops, bakeries, breweries, and distilleries, ticket holds will sample unique Chicano flavors while making their way throughout the historic Barrio Logan Cultural District.Attendees can walk, bike, or take the trolley service to enjoy the array of food and beverage, street vendors, local shops, outdoor public art, murals, lowriders and everything that makes Barrio Logan an authentic experience you will not find anywhere else. Sabor Del Barrio is presented by the Barrio Logan Association and All For Logan, non-profit organizations whose mission is to promote and revitalize the Barrio Logan Cultural District.
Ticket to Sabor Del Barrio are available online for $40 and include a sample taste at all 35+ participating businesses, as well as free access to the Chicano Park Museum and Cultural Center, access to the Atheneum at Bread & Salt, and access to the free trolley shuttle service for Sabor Del Barrio in the Barrio Logan Cultural District. Tickets will also be available at the will-call booth on the day of the event for $50.
