Founded in Korea in 1995 with over 3,500 locations throughout the globe, BB.Q Chicken made its return to San Diego in 2021 after having a store in Kearny Mesa from 2008 through 2013. Meaning "best of the best in quality, BB,Q now has San Diego locations on Convoy Street, in Sorrento Valley, and in the South County community of National City.
BB.Q Chicken will open its fourth area branch later this year within Vista’s Melrose Village Plaza in San Diego's North County. The menu will feature a large variety of chicken fried in olive oil then toasted in an array of sauces and seasonings like honey garlic and Golden Original, as well as several side dishes, a couple salads, and a pair of fried chicken sandwiches.
