You know the saying, "it's not my first rodeo"? Well for Petco Park, it will be. On January 12 through 14, 2023, The San Diego Padres, C5 Rodeo Company Inc. and Outriders Present will host the inaugural San Diego Rodeo at Petco Park. According to the Padres, the three-day event will feature 12 contestants competing for $620,000 in prize money.
San Diego Padres majority owner Peter Seidler has a brother who is a rancher in Montana. The family has long been fans of rodeos and the cowboy lifestyle.
Tickets for the San Diego Rodeo will go on sale Monday, September 18, starting at 2pm. Padres members will have early access to tickets starting at 10am on that day.
