Krisp Beverages + Natural Foods will soon open new locations in downtown San Diego's Little Italy and East Village.
Founded in downtown San Diego as Super Jr. market in 1974 and rebranded in 2011, Krisp Beverages + Natural Foods is in the process of taking over Mixon Deli in Little Italy and Rovino The Foodery in East Village for two new locations. The company currently operates grocery markets in downtown San Diego, Golden Hill, and Ocean Beach.
For the East Village branch moving into the space currently occupied by Rovino The Foodery as early as year's end, the company plans to focus more on made to order and prepared foods in addition to having a market component and full bar. Expect a full deli with sandwiches, smash burgers, pizza, and entrees, as well as beer, wine and cocktails. The Little Italy location will have a full grocery market with a focus on beer, wine and spirits, as well as meats, organic produce and other grocery items.
