Get ready to trade in the snow boots for flip-flops as San Diego’s "official" SantaCon takes over the entire Belmont Park in San Diego's Mission Beach for an all-day holiday festival on December 16.
Presented by Almost Nakey, the 2nd annual SantaCon takes over the entire Belmont Park on Saturday, December 16, from 1-10pm, transforming the Mission Beach amusement park into a full-blown Christmas winter wonderland. The event will feature four stages with multiple DJ sets, including a performance by headliner Chromeo, and all Belmont Park rides are included with the price of admission.
Expect a Santa's Village made from LED walls and snow cannons at Beach House, a second main stage inside Belmont Park, a 50-foot tall inflatable Santa and Grinch, life-sized snow globes, a Club Penguin Igloo Silent Disco, a Santa to take photos with, a Sky Deck for VIP's, the festival's very own WhoVille. and so much more. Attendees are urged to come dressed in their best Santa outfit and enter the costume contest for the chance to win prizes. Mrs. Claus will crown two winners at the end of the night, so may the best Santa win.
Tickets to this 21-and-over event are available online starting at $60 for general admission or $140 for Santa's VIP, which includes a guaranteed spot on Santa’s nice list and perks like skipping the line to all rides within Belmont Park, VIP Sky Decks, private bars and lounges at Coaster VIP Terrace, VIP sections at both main stages, VIP entrance/check in and more. A percentage of all ticket sales will go towards supporting Toys for Tots. Each ticket includes full access to all the rides at Belmont Park.
