San Diego-born fast-casual chain Burger Lounge has unveiled its newest location in Carmel Valley.
The first Burger Lounge eatery was opened in La Jolla in 2007 by Dean Loring and Michael Gillian, and there are now locations in Carlsbad, Coronado, Del Mar, Del Sur, Hillcrest, Kensington, La Jolla and Little Italy, as well as Burger Lounge restaurants in Los Angeles, Inland Empire, Orange County, Bay Area, and Sacramento. There was also a Gaslamp location that unveiled at 528 Fifth Avenue in 2011, but that branch shuttered in August 2020 and is now an outpost of Michigan-based fast casual sandwich chain Lefty’s Famous Cheesesteaks, Hoagies & Grill.
The newest San Diego Burger Lounge eatery has opened in the space that last housed the short-lived Five Oceans Fish Market within The Village at Pacific Highlands Ranch plaza in Carmel Valley. Like other branches, the menu offers a selection of signature and customizable grass-fed burgers, as well as turkey burgers, plant-based options, chicken sandwiches, salads, and sides.
Burger Lounge is now open at 5950 Village Way, Unit 101, in San Diego's Carmel Valley. For more information, visit burgerlounge.com.
