San Diego's beloved Better Buzz Coffee Roasters has unveiled its first South County location.
Founded by then-college students Tim Langdon and Stephanie Garden as a coffee cart in 2002, Better Buzz Coffee Roasters opened its first cafe location at 1909 Garnet Avenue in Pacific Beach in 2007. The company has substantially grown over the past 16 years and now has several locations in Pacific Beach, as well as branches in Point Loma, Mission Beach, Encinitas, Escondido, Coronado, San Marcos, La Jolla, Miramar, Mira Mesa, Grantville, Carlsbad, a hub at Fashion Valley Mall in Mission Valley, its flagship cafe and roaster in Hillcrest, and cafes in Temecula, San Clemente, and Menifee, CA. There is also a location in the works for San Diego's North County city of Oceanside and another being built in the standalone building that last housed Super Oscar's Mexican Food in La Mesa
The newest Better Buzz opens today in a 1,400-square-foot standalone space that last housed an office in San Diego's South County community of Bonita. Like other area locations, the new Better Buzz will serve a menu of coffee and espresso drinks, including drip coffee and cold brews, as well as a lineup of organic smoothies and an expanded breakfast and lunch food menu with avocado toast, grilled sandwiches, paninis, muffins, cookies, bagels and a variety of acai bowls. Better Buzz food classics include the Turkey Pesto, Bacon Ciabatta, Ham + Cheese Croissant, and Caprese sandwiches, as well as customer favorites like the Best Drink Ever and Mocha Buzz. The cafe boasts a drive-thru window and walk up ordering with outdoor patio seating.
Better Buzz Coffee Roasters is now open at 4041 Bonita Road in San Diego's South County neighborhood of Bonita. For more information, visit betterbuzzcoffee.com.
