One of the city's top destinations for burgers, Hayes Burger is opening a new location in San Diego's Normal Heights.
Established in April 2020 by Ernesto Villanueva, Jose Honold, Yamel Kuri and Alejandro Ballesteros in the vibrant Barrio Logan neighborhood of San Diego, Haye's Burger has swiftly risen to become a prominent destination for burger enthusiasts in the city. This no-nonsense eatery boasts a street art-inspired ambiance and offers a straightforward menu featuring single, double and triple cheeseburgers, as well as a grilled cheese and fries.
Hayes Burger has taken over the storefront that last housed the short-lived Young Cluck fried chicken restaurant in San Diego's Normal Heights. Like the original branch, expect the new Hayes Burger to offer a short menu of smash burgers with the classic toppings of lettuce, tomato, burger sauce, and the option to add spicy Santa Fe Grande "guero" peppers.
