San Diego's beloved Better Buzz Coffee Roasters is continuing to expand locally with several additional locations planned to open this year around the county and beyond.
Founded by then-college students Tim Langdon and Stephanie Garden as a coffee cart in 2002, Better Buzz Coffee Roasters opened its first cafe location at 1909 Garnet Avenue in Pacific Beach in 2007. The company has substantially grown over the past 16 years and now has several locations in Pacific Beach, as well as branches in Point Loma, Mission Beach, Encinitas, Escondido, Coronado, San Marcos, La Jolla, Miramar, Mira Mesa, Grantville, Carlsbad, Bonita, La Mesa a hub at Fashion Valley Mall in Mission Valley, its flagship cafe and roaster in Hillcrest, and cafes in Temecula, San Clemente, and Menifee, CA.
In addition to a location unveiling soon in San Diego's North County city of Oceanside, Better Buzz also has outposts expected to open this year at Monte Mar Street and East Vista Way in San Diego's North County city of Vista and another at 1435 Camino Del Mar in Del Mar. The company is also growing its footprint outside of San Diego with cafes in the works for Las Vegas, Costa Mesa, Santa Ana, Fullerton, and all around Arizona.
Better Buzz serves a menu of coffee and espresso drinks, including drip coffee and cold brews, as well as a lineup of organic smoothies and an expanded breakfast and lunch food menu with avocado toast, grilled sandwiches, paninis, muffins, cookies, bagels and a variety of acai bowls. Better Buzz food classics include the Turkey Pesto, Bacon Ciabatta, Ham + Cheese Croissant, and Caprese sandwiches, as well as customer favorites like the Best Drink Ever and Mocha Buzz.
