San Diego will soon get its first location of Wild Fork Foods, a new specialty meat and seafood store with an inventory that includes an array of exotic meats like alligator, ostrich and kangaroo.
Wild Fork Foods was founded in 2017 by JBS USA Holdings, Inc., a meat processing company and a wholly owned subsidiary of the Brazilian multinational JBS S.A., the largest meat packer in the world (JBS allegedly slaughters over 50 thousand cattle per day). Wild Fork Foods is the newest expansion of the JBS empire, and the first branch that is focused on selling directly to customers. There are currently around 40 Wild Fork stores around the United States.
Opening in a new building being built in the space that last housed V-Outlet discount store on Garnet Avenue in Pacific Beach, Wild Fork Foods will be modern-day meat and seafood market. The space will sell over 700 products, including 450+ meat & seafood items, ranging from everyday grocery staples to rare finds like premium Wagyu and exotic meats. There will also be a range of appetizers, sides, seasonings, fruits, veggies, breads, pre-seasoned meats, and desserts. Customers will be able to order online for convenient in-store pickup or local delivery.
Wild Fork Foods Store is expected to open by year's end at 1701 Garnet Avenue in San Diego's Pacific Beach. For more information, visit wildforkfoods.com.
