After seven years in business, You & Yours Distilling Company has announced its impending closure in San Diego's East Village.
Billed as "California’s first urban destination distillery," You & Yours was founded by Laura Johnson in March 2017. In addition to Johnson, the founding team consisted of co-founder Luke Mahoney, as well as Chris Frierson and Trevor Bowles, a duo of former Consortium Holdings barmen. In late 2019, You & Yours ownership took over operations at Liberty Station's historic The Loma Club in Point Loma."After seven glorious - and challenging - years, this will be our last week of business at You & Yours," read the announcement on the company's social media. "We've been so fortunate to receive such incredible support from this city and we extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who has joined us in the tasting room over the years. We've cherished the honor of hosting so many of your celebrations - from bridal and baby showers to weddings, receptions, engagement parties, birthdays, bachelorette parties and everything in between."
The last day of service for You & Yours Distilling will be this Sunday, May 5. The 2,300 square-foot full production distillery, cocktail bar and restaurant is located on the base floor of the Form 15 building in San Diego's East Village.
